We want to be active participants in the local communities in which we operate. When we give back to those in need, we gain perspective on how much is possible when people support one another. BiG invests in STEM programs for the youth.
STEM is a curriculum based on educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering, and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.
Financial aid is an essential element in young professionals' success because it helps them finish school and gain financially independent lives. In 2020 BiG donated over $67,000 to various outreach initiatives and scholarships to support programs committed to increasing access to education among underserved communities and empowering historically marginalized groups.
Our primary sponsorship includes the Business Integration Group Business & Technology Endowment Fund at Norfolk State University. This endowment offers scholarships to students pursuing a Computer Science degree with financial need.
